Intermediate Microsoft® Software Developer
Location: Edmonton, AB

Digital Time Capture Inc. is recruiting for an experienced Microsoft® software developer to design and implement software components and modules for extending the functionality of our flagship product – Digital Time Capture.

Reporting to the VP of R&D, your responsibilities would include the following:

• Assisting in the design and implementation of software components, modules, and applications for extending the functionality of the existing product as well as new product ideas.
• Writing, documenting, testing and debugging code written in VB.NET, using the latest tools and techniques.
• Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of emerging software technologies and recommending platforms for implementing specific software solutions.

Technical requirements include the following:

• BSc. in computer science or its equivalent.
• VB.NET/C#.NET programming experience.
• Experience programming on the Microsoft® Windows® platform and with COM/COM+ and Web Services.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with developing commercial enterprise class applications is an asset.

You have strong communication skills and work well in a team environment. Ideally, you have three or more years of software development experience.
